with our customers and vendors.
Our goal is to grow our organization by providing excellence in the quality of our
products and services and to be the distributor of choice for your fluid power needs.
Company History
Wojanis Supply Company, Inc. is a premier provider of fluid power sales and service
in Western Pennsylvania and nationally. Our firm began as a small enterprise,
but quickly grew, thanks to the vision of James R. Wojanis. In 1980, he started
the company in his home. Within a year, the growth of the business necessitated
a move to bigger office space. Jim’s entrepreneurial talents, his dynamic
sales ability, and his technical genius captured the attention of the fluid power
distribution market.
In December 1982, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved incorporation of Wojanis
Supply Company, and the first Board of Directors meeting was held. With Jim
as President, the firm continued to expand. Judy Wojanis came on board in
1985 as Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation. This was the beginning of
a long and successful working partnership.
Once again, the company outgrew its location. In 1985, Wojanis Supply Company,
Inc. moved to its current headquarters at 1001 Montour West Industrial Park. This location was subsequently enlarged in 1986 to allow increased on-site manufacturing.
Sadly, in May 2004, James Wojanis passed away. However, his legacy lives on. Judy Wojanis, sharing Jim’s vision, stepped into the role of President. Under her leadership, Wojanis Supply Company, Inc. has grown again with a plan to
expand with more diverse products, organizational restructuring, and location renovation. Judy’s goal is to demonstrate to future generations an organization that is
based upon respect and business integrity.
Wojanis Supply Company, Inc. has been included in the Industrial Distribution Top
50 Small Distributors in the United States, is a member of the National Fluid Power
Association (www.nfpa.com), Snow
and Ice Management Association (www.sima.org),
and in 2005 proudly celebrated 25 years of service in the Fluid Power Industry.
Message from the President
"Who among you would not savor the adventure of growing an organization based
on respect, where economic and humanitarian goals are accomplished? My role
as President of Wojanis Supply Company, Inc. has afforded me the unique pleasure
of establishing such a goal with the opportunity to follow it through to fruition.
The backbone of our company is the inside sales staff, complimented by an outside
sales force mutually focused on service. Over 60 years combined engineering
experience covering mobile, mining, light and heavy industrial hydraulics, lubrication,
pneumatic and water systems gives Wojanis Supply Company the ability to provide
answers to your technical questions.
The solid foundation of our company history and strength and unity of our work force
have produced a team prepared to provide customers and vendors unparalleled service. We plan to demonstrate to future generations that unity, shared respect, and business
integrity will produce financial and individual success.
